Thunderstruck’s 10th Edition Will Feature BHAYANAK MAUT, SPUD IN THE BOX And SIFAR!

The above phrase knocks the right sound for one of Mumbai’s finest Rock Music festivals. After running the show for 9 consecutive years, Thunderstruck was made to bite the dust.

One of only Rock n’ Roll college festivals, Thunderstruck, was officially called off after the disagreement between college authorities and rebellious students. With differences relating to promoting ‘music not particularly of their choice’, the authorities called off the show right before Thunderstruck’s 10th edition.

While it seemed like the turn of events would lead to a permanent closure, the team took vital steps to make sure that the fairy tale didn’t end there.The festival committee, after 5 months of planning and efforts, has managed to pull off one of the greatest tales of all times. The festival that promoted indie acts from across the country with an overwhelming response increasing year by year, is back on track.

The festival goes independent for the 10th edition and will see Thunderstruck sticking to their roots with their lineup and a strong head on approach. Mumbai’s metal sweethearts, Bhayanak Maut, will take charge of the anniversary edition of the newly independent Rock n’ Roll festival set for the month end.The Mumbai-based metallers will be supported by the Delhi outfit, Sifar and 6-piece alt-rockers, Spud In The Box.

Thunderstruck’s 10th edition hits Kandivali’s Mumbai Music Institute with their splendid lineup, managing to break the genre barrier, on Sunday, 28th of May.
